Through our partnership with Community Gateway Association, Travis Perkins Managed Services supports the Dig In North West social value project. This small local organisation is giving back to the community by supporting military veterans facing challenges as a result of their service.
At Travis Perkins Managed Services we are proud to be a business that helps the community. We have provided materials to help Dig In North West with this community investment project. As a building procurement specialist, we were able to help in the development of an onsite building into an office, meeting room and counselling space for the local veterans.
When the building is completed the difference it will make to the military community, especially those with mental health injuries is significant. It will allow them a more comfortable environment that supports their recovery process.
The garden and onsite building provides a place for veterans to come together and do something practical that benefits themselves and serves others. Here they can relax, be themselves and talk with others who understand their difficulties.
