Molly Harris, Social Housing Account Manager for Travis Perkins Managed Services, alongside Phil Jones, Customer Operations Manager for Travis Perkins Managed Services, recently attended a Careers Day at a Cardiff secondary school, marking the company’s third consecutive year of participation.

This event, aimed at providing career guidance and inspiration, catered to around 900 students from Year 7 to Year 13. Molly and Mackenzie engaged with students discussing career opportunities at Travis Perkins, including roles in sales, logistics, and management and how these could be pursued within the company.

Also highlighted was the LEAP apprenticeship programme, which offers comprehensive training and development pathways for young people. Students showed great interest, with several Year 13 students expressing a desire to explore potential job opportunities.

“Supporting young people and schools is vital, and offering training and employability opportunities empowers them to build solid foundations for their future careers. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the enthusiasm and potential of these students, and I hope to see some of them working within the Travis Perkins family in the future.”
